As of 2020, one in four US employees is aged 55 and older. The 50+ age segment of the western population is growing rapidly compared other age segments. As a consequence, the demography of US and European workforce changes as well.
When applying for a job or requesting an internal change of position, many employees of the 50+ segment are confronted with bias against their age, according to this week’s Forbes article.
