HR-Tech As a Tool Against Bias

As of 2020, one in four US employees is aged 55 and older. The 50+ age segment of the western population is growing rapidly compared other age segments. As a consequence, the demography of US and European workforce changes as well.

When applying for a job or requesting an internal change of position, many employees of the 50+ segment are confronted with bias against their age, according to this week’s Forbes article. When it comes to occupying positions, our digital solution can be used as a tool for preventing age biased decision making. Based on skills and skill level, employers will be shown a score from one to 100 percent, indicating the employees matching closest with a job or project description. The skill-based matching system takes age out of the equation and instead focuses on skills and skill level.
